Lindsay Lohan to Host 'Saturday Night Live

Lindsay Lohan is staging a comeback. For real this time. So how's she doing it? Well, the previously troubled starlet's starting with hosting Saturday Night Live on March 3. This will be the blonde's fourth time on the show, but her first since 2006. A lot has happened in her life in that six-year gap and we're guessing the folks at SNL will have no trouble finding material to write about for her sketches.

It sounds like Lohan is excited about the gig. She wrote on Twitter today: "SNL! I love @NBC!" Hopefully she'll still be as happy when facing jabs about her past on the show.

But, it sounds like all of those run-ins with the law and jail sentences are behind her. She's due back in court Wednesday, where she'll happily report she's finished another 15 hours of community service and five more psychotherapy sessions. If she stays on this path, her probation will end March 29.

Christina Aguilera was in rare form Saturday night. The singer wore a conservative (by her standards) skirt suit and teared up as she stood on stage at an L.A.-area church while telling hundreds of mourners of her admiration for the late Etta James.

The blonde delivered a heartfelt speech about her connection to the soul singer, who passed away at the age of 73 on January 20. Aguilera nervously explained her love for James and her music and told the crowd she's performed "At Last" at every single one of her concerts over the last 10 years. "I've aspired to sing like her, to be like her, to emulate her notes and her passion, and the love for what she did," Aguilera said before breaking out into song.
