Listen: Madonna Quotes Cyndi Lauper in New Single 'Girl Gone Wild'

Madonna's been called pretentious many times in her decades-long career, thanks in part to her come-and-go British accent and her glib use of words like "reductive." But when it comes to her music, Madonna can hardly be accused of going too highbrow: Her new single "Girl Gone Wild" is really only notable for its shameless party anthem lyrics ("I'm like hey-ey-ey / I'm like a girl gone wild"). It says something about the emotional depth of a song when Joe Francis starts threatening to sue for trademark infringement.

The Queen of Pop released a lyrics video for "Girl Gone Wild" on Monday, giving fans a sneak peek at racy album artwork created by Mert and Marcus (the famed fashion photography duo have already filmed the song's music video, which is sure to feature Madonna in various states of undress). The Benny Benassi-produced song is typical club fare, save a nod to fellow '80s great Cyndi Lauper with the lyric, "Girls, they just wanna have some fun." The problem is it's not actually all that fun. 

Lindsay Lohan to Host 'Saturday Night Live

Lindsay Lohan is staging a comeback. For real this time. So how's she doing it? Well, the previously troubled starlet's starting with hosting Saturday Night Live on March 3. This will be the blonde's fourth time on the show, but her first since 2006. A lot has happened in her life in that six-year gap and we're guessing the folks at SNL will have no trouble finding material to write about for her sketches.

It sounds like Lohan is excited about the gig. She wrote on Twitter today: "SNL! I love @NBC!" Hopefully she'll still be as happy when facing jabs about her past on the show.

But, it sounds like all of those run-ins with the law and jail sentences are behind her. She's due back in court Wednesday, where she'll happily report she's finished another 15 hours of community service and five more psychotherapy sessions. If she stays on this path, her probation will end March 29.
